About Me

This is a blog about psychiatric service dogs, college and life in general. I’m a 19 year old college student in Florida and am currently on a journey to having my service dog.

My SDiT Finn

I’ve been diagnosed with Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, as well as Social Anxiety Disorder (a fun concoction huh?).

I hope this blog can help those out there like me, finding their way in this world, when life sometimes just gets tough. As a college student, sometimes its hard to look at life as a whole instead of zeroing in on the stressful, crazy moments. I hope this blog will be able to help you in those hectic moments and find the grace and little blessings in it. I also want to give a shout out to my fellow anxious people and show them they are not alone in this big scary world and that it’s okay to be anxious.

There’s not many places on the internet that address life for a young person with an anxiety disorder. But as studies show, mental illnesses are on the rise, especially for my fellow college students. So if you’re a student, anxious individual, or are thinking about getting a service dog yourself, you’ve come to the right place!
